Has anyone withheld transcript info on college application? do you have to list ALL schools you went to?
how can the school find out if you went to another institution...isn't my right to not disclose where i attended????Has anyone withheld transcript info on college application? do you have to list ALL schools you went to?
Yes, you are required to provide all transcripts. Schools will occasionally allow you to not provide a disclosed transcript for cause (e.g. they have adequate information and a school you went to is closed, making getting records difficult). but disclosure is mandatory.
If you fail to provide a full accounting, you might get away with it. But if your are caught--and most of the time people trying this are cauught--it is grounds for immediate expulsion--and revocation of any credit you may have earned. Under some circumstances it will also make you liable to criminal prosecution (if, for example, you have taken financial aid you wouldn't have received).
And no, you do not have the right to hide your academic past. The school--public or private--has every legall and ethical right to ask for this information.
As to how you might get caught--I have no intention of telling you. There are far too many honest people deserving of a place in college without helping someone get in by cheating.Has anyone withheld transcript info on college application? do you have to list ALL schools you went to?
Great--and good luck to you!

It is the schools right to know the truth about your background. And it is their right to expel you or cancel your application if they have reason to believe you lied.
You have the right to refuse to answer a question, or to withdraw your application. And they have the right to turn you down. You don't have any more right to lie to them than they have to lie to you. If they say, list all colleges you have attended, then you are obliged to answer or withdraw your application.
Yes, you have to disclose it. You probably provided your social security number to your schools; if they do a search, they'll find it.
You have to give out the information on the last school you went to. That school will have transcripts from other schools included in there's. You cannot withhold transcript information. Most colleges require a transcript to be sent from the school you went to.

How to get transcript from old school?
All records should be with the district office. It should be listed in the phone book, or you can call your old school to get the number and address from them. How to get transcript from old school?
You go to the admissions office at your current school and ask for a transcript release form you fill it out and send it to the old school and they send it to your new school through the mail.

What is a transcript? Help!!! my project requires me to do an interview with an elderly but i dunno how!!!?
A transcript is questions and answers recorded in some fashion. Write up a set of questions and then write down the answers you get. What is a transcript? Help!!! my project requires me to do an interview with an elderly but i dunno how!!!?
A transcript is a written version of the interview. It will list what questions you asked and the responses. So you either have to take really good notes or take a tape recorder in order to write the transcript after the interview.car financing

I am applying for a job and it's asking me for transcripts - don't laugh! What is this?
I know it means why or because but how does this pertain?I am applying for a job and it's asking me for transcripts - don't laugh! What is this?
They want to see your school record. First of all, that lets them know whether you graduated. And second, it lets them know what kind of student you were.
If you have a lot of low grades and ';incompletes'; on your record, it would be a warning sign to a future employer.
But mostly, it shows whether you graduated. You would be amazed at the number of people who go around claiming to have graduated high school or college, when in fact they actually never finished. And then there are the people who lie about their age (either raising it or lowering it). Your school transcript will usually show your birthdate. Even if there is no birthdate, it will certainly show when you entered and when you left, which can serve as a check on what you told them about how old you are. (If you graduated high school ten years ago, you are not 21 right now.)
Hope this helps. Good luck!!I am applying for a job and it's asking me for transcripts - don't laugh! What is this?
they just want proof
Your grades in college and high school, depending how old you are.
I would assume that what they want are your collage transcripts, all your grades. I would be careful, because I was under the impression that employers could not ask for transcripts. Make sure you check into that before sending them
for proof
A transcript is the marks that you got in college/university and high school.
I hope that I answered your question.
TOR means transcript of records.
This is a record provided by the school or university after you have entered schooling.
This will reflect to your scholastic performance from elementary to whatever level you graduated.
They want copies of your college transcripts. Just ask your college for it - they'll know. It shows your grades and GPA.
They want copies of your college and/or high school transcripts. Transcripts detail all the classes you have taken and give how many credit hours you have obtained and your gpa.
Your records from college and/or high school. They show the classes you took and grades your received.
You sound young...so I would say they're looking for your HS transcripts. They need to see how well you did in school.....what your educational background is.
copies of your college papers =]
