You see he was duped into this reversal of his original decision by Soros; the liberal Socialists in the House of Representatives and in the Senate; Madam Pelosi; Barney Rubble; Chris Dodd and their ilk...but I really feel this could be his downfall...The American people do not want this...they know it is bad for the country; but they want to destroy our national security; and our safety...It makes no sense; and be aware they are not releasing anything that is in favor of waterboarding; only limited memos; Gen. Petraeus said release everything! Let us put our cards on the table! This will haunt his admin. I tell you....Then people will start zeroing in on his documents more and more! So he has alot to lose. Be assured you will see less news conferences; and if he has them they will be tightly controlled...You will see speeches like the one he will make soon...Total media control is the aim of this administration.

SupCo like the rest of the Political Class cares more about the global self-styled elite (including themselves) than about fidelity to the US Constitution and its citizens. They do not respect the sovereignty of this nation. They do not respect the founders of this nation and their principles. They do not respect the citizens as sentient individuals. They do not promote the law-abiding. All of the Political Class just quibble amongst each other over details and who will run things. I think that most of the controversy has been covered here, however, I might also add that the whole college transcripts issue might have something to do with the fact that Obama may not have had the GPA standing necessary to get into Harvard. Affirmative Action anyone?

Apparently, the ';liberals'; had infiltrated the Supreme Court and lower federal courts and that's why NONE of the challenges to his citizenship were upheld.





Hey maybe McCain was a closest liberal too. He said that Obama was an American, as much as he was.
Because King Teleprompter the Panderer has not yet given Obama authorization to release the classified documents that contain his birth certificate and college transcripts. I think he will have to make a lot more apologies before he earns the privilege to release that kind of information to us.
Because it's important for the country to know that 234 years of American moral tradition has been flushed into the sewer but only a few paranoid obsessives remain fixated on his birth certificate and his transcripts.
Actually, considering what most people do in college, I can't say I'm surprised. I'd be lying if I said that I'd be comfortable releasing that kinda info to the public.
Move along now, there is nothing to see here!!! We need to be concentrating on REAL issues here, not tiny little law breaking things like that. After all, look at the cabinet if you want to see real law breakers.

The attorney general of Hawaii verified the authenticity of his birth certificate. The one he posted on line was attacked but not discredited by cyber sleuths. If you knew who started this whole internet based grass roots birth certificate sage you’d let it go.





They weren’t CIA memo’s they were memo’s exchanged between the CIA and legal council threading the needle for legal justification regarding torture. The problem is the Bush administration didn’t set a legal prescient for torture despite how important they felt it was. They coupled with the CIA and excluded the FBI then created a program that wasn’t legally tested in any other branch but the executive. They denied any such program and briefed the congress only on pieces of the program while denying its existence.





It’s amusing you are more worried about his birth certificate then you are memos that confirm we “did” torture.





The reality is Barack Obama met with the CIA, military and legal advisors, he let them argue their case and then the meeting was over he released the memos with written executive order. We now have a president using executive order to release information rather then using executive order to defend torture, domestic spying and avoiding testifying under oath.





The decision of Barack Obama to release the memos was about preserving the morality of our country rather then the morale of field operatives whose field actions are being used as props to avoid real debate. This birth certificate question is more of that and at some point the country has to answer the question do we torture and if we do what’s the legal prescient for it.
He has already released his BC, and his college transcripts are irrelevant. I notice you didn't complain that McCain refused to unseal his military records. Obama didn't on his educational record....McCain DID spend a lot of time discussing his military record. FYI: Harvard provides you with his grades....he graduated magna *** laude.
College transcripts are fodder for third rate TV networks to gossip over. A birth certificate is irrelevant to anything at all. Top secret CIA reports are discretionary to need. I need more detail of what you are speaking. Such reports are supposed to be public record after 25 years, if memory serves.

His White House lawyer feared igniting another simmering legal controversy if there was any doubt about the oath's validity, although the Constitution stipulates the new president takes office at noon no matter what.





However, the dispute over his birthplace continues.';





Obama has spent over $1,000,000 on a team of lawyers to suppressing access to his early records.

The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.





The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his ';Certification of Live Birth'; from Hawaii.





But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.





';This has been a real sham he's pulled off for the last 20 months,'; Berg told Savage. ';I'll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States.';





He said the telephone call was from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming she ';was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961.';





Berg said he's pursuing the issue because of ';the most important document in the United States,'; the U.S. Constitution.





';Nothing is more important than enforcing the Constitution,'; he said. ';The Constitution's provisions are very small for qualifying for president. One, be over 35, and he is. Two, be in the country 14 years, and he has been. Three, be a natural-born citizen. He is not.';

Also, let's not forget McCain was born on foreign territory that is not US and also refused to provide his birth certificate.
