Please state what year you graduated high school when answering. Thank you.How long does it usually take for colleges to get back to you after you've applied and sent your transcripts?
I graduated in 2000...I think it depends on your transcripts and activities and stuff. A school may hold onto your stuff and wait to get back to you to see if you may make it in depending on subsequent rounds of admission...If you are good enought they will usually get back within 4 weeks or so...How long does it usually take for colleges to get back to you after you've applied and sent your transcripts?
I allow 4-6 weeks for my slow a** community college to process anything. But if you are in doubt i would call and see if they have any info for you.
Most major colleges have admission schedules. They hold all applications and let all applicants know at once. Check the admissions websites where you applied.
I work at a university and the average, depending on how organized the school is, is 4-10 weeks. Sometimes longer if course descriptions are too vauge. Make sure to follow up with someone course by course to see what transferred and if anything did not transfer in find out why and what you can do to fix that and avoid taking the same class over again. Good luck!
