What is an official transcript?

An official transcript is one that is signed by the registrar and has the registrar's stamp on the sealed envelope. When going to graduate school, or transferring colleges, etc. the place requesting the official transcript will want to see your transcript in the above described envelope. The envelope must be mailed from the issuing college or university and will not be accepted by you if hand delivered. The cost of the official transcript will depend on the college or university where the transcript is to come from.What is an official transcript?
Official transcript is a transcript that is officially sealed and you can't open it. The other person, that you have to give the transcript to, has to open it. You need it when you're going to transfer, grade or school. official transcript usually will cost you $20.
